The OECD Centre on Well-being, Inclusion, Sustainability and Equal Opportunity (WISE) works with Member countries to embed people-centred approaches into decision-making and to reduce inequalities across current and future generations. On 19 November, the WISE Centre launched its OECD Well-being Data Monitor. The Well-being Data Monitor features three interactive and user-friendly dashboards covering an updated set of over 80 well-being indicators, as featured in WISE’s flagship report How’s Life?. At a glance, it summarises how people’s lives are developing across OECD and partner countries, considering current and future wellbeing and highlighting gaps across population groups. It also features an updated Better Life Index that allows users to see how countries perform according to what dimensions of the OECD Well-being Framework they think are important. Watch the virtual launch event to discover how to use this key source of well-being data in your work, hear from leading data journalists about the importance of good visualisation for policy communication, and learn about use cases from measurement and policy across OECD countries. The event was simultaneously interpreted in English and in French.
