Over two-thirds of OECD countries have some form of well-being framework for measurement or policy use, and there is a growing need to facilitate international peer learning on this topic. The new OECD Knowledge Exchange Platform on Well-being Metrics and Policy Practice (KEP) will provide a stable space for information sharing and the development of resources related to well-being measurement and monitoring, well-being policy tools and implementation, and the application of a well-being lens to specific policy issues. The KEP will encompass a public online resource portal, as well as structured knowledge exchange activities, and substantive research and policy advice. The launch event will be opened by OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann, and will include a panel discussion with experts from countries who are actively engaging with the application of well-being approaches in policy.
